S2098 Copal 3 Extended Lens Board

Description

Mounts large-format lenses fitted with a Copal No. 3 shutter. The extended design moves the lens mounting position forwards, adding extension for lenses requiring more installation distance or for close-up work.

Construction and specifications

CNC-machined aluminium alloy. Forward extension: 60 mm; internal diameter: 85 mm; mounting-hole diameter: 65 mm. Internal diameter and shutter mounting hole are separate dimensions.

System configuration

Select the rear adapter and Type 1, 2 or 3 bellows for the camera or back; all three share the front board interface. TC191 currently uses four-fold bellows.

Configuration notes

Lens-side accessory only; illustrated lenses, shutters, camera platforms, bellows and cameras/backs are not included. Check retention, aperture/shutter operation, clearance, image circle and focusing range for the assembly. Movements come from the platform; mechanical mounting does not imply electronic control.
