Connect your phone to a compatible lens-and-converter telescope to capture photos and video through it. The all-metal S2342 combines a smartphone connection and tripod support in one assembly. Remove the rear phone sleeve to return to steady visual observation.
Description
Adjust the view, then lock it
Fine-adjust the distance between the phone and eyepiece to optimize the image. The phone rotates through 360° for landscape, portrait and intermediate orientations. Both distance and rotation adjustments have locking mechanisms to hold the selected position.
Support for lenses without a tripod collar
The base has an Arca-compatible dovetail plate and a 1/4-inch threaded tripod socket. It gives a lens-and-converter combination a tripod mounting point when the lens has no collar, reducing the movement associated with handheld viewing.
Adapt the assembly to your setup
With a telephoto lens that has its own tripod collar, support the system from that collar and remove the S2342 base plate if required. The rear phone sleeve can also be removed for visual observation. The sleeve, support clamp and base plate are supplied assembled as parts of the product.
Compatibility
For our five 10mm converters: S1747, S1754, S1755, S1756 and S1994. Not compatible with the SLTApro-t2 20mm model.
Requires a phone case with an M17×0.75 thread intended for add-on phone lenses. The case is not included; purchase one matching your phone and the specified thread.
