LS001PRO Micrometer-Style Macro Positioning Rail

Description

LS001PRO provides controlled camera movement for macro composition and manual focus stacking. Its 120 mm travel supports initial positioning and small adjustments between exposures.

The integrated transverse Arca-type clamp has a locking knob set at 45°. This angled placement reduces obstruction from camera bodies, plates and lens feet, making the knob easier to reach when mounting or removing equipment. A 27 mm mounting height keeps the camera close to the support.

Unfold the crank for rapid positioning, or turn the knurled rim for fine adjustments. When folded, the crank preserves the knob's circular profile and continuous knurled grip. The lead screw moves 1 mm per revolution; 100 divisions indicate 0.01 mm of travel each. These graduations provide a reference for manual focus-stacking steps, with images combined separately in post-processing.

The self-locking screw holds position when adjustment stops, without a separate locking step. Self-lubricating components require no routine lubrication. The rail supports loads up to 10 kg in horizontal, inclined or vertical use.

The base's Arca-type dovetail slides within a compatible clamp to balance the equipment, independently of the upper camera movement. Three 1/4-inch mounting threads provide another attachment option. A 50 mm Arca-type plate is included.
